I am excited to share my personal testimony about complete recovery from debilitating leg, hip, and back pain. I had back surgery in 2011. The surgery went well. I then had post-operative physical therapy for about three months. That also went well. After that I continued with stiffness and limited range of motion and some discomfort. My primary care doctor suggested using a trainer and referred me to Debbie Johnson. I have now gone to Debbie twice a week for the past five years. She is very skilled in stretch exercises which helped my range of motion. She has an extensive background in training and knows the exact exercises to strengthen specific muscles. I have been blessed to see her for help with strength and mobility. Anyone needing help with recovery from operative procedures or just plain help with exercise activity should see Debbie Johnson for help.

I have worked with Debbie Johnson of God’s Reflections for a little less than two years. One Life, One Body – isn’t that a wake-up call? I want to keep my body as well maintained as possible. Without my health, I won’t be able to do the things I want to do in the years ahead – being active with my grandkids, traveling and volunteering. my ideal weight. I had lost and gained back the same 10 or so pounds many, many times.
With the aging process, my tummy muscles were weak and my middle had grown. I could no longer wear belts I had worn before, and honestly, I could not feel my ribs! And while I had been coming to the gym for years, I had not been successful in gaining muscle strength. More than once, I had actually hurt myself by using incorrect technique.
I am so very thankful that I have found Debbie as a trainer and friend. She sincerely cares about each person she trains. Debbie analyzed the strengths and weaknesses of my body and formulated a well thought-out plan. Because I had a little arthritis here and there, Debbie sometimes has to substitute one exercise for another. She very knowledgeable and intuitive and is able to target each muscle in different ways depending on one’s abilities and limitations.
Since I have been working with Debbie, my muscle strength is improving. I have reached my ideal weight with the help of a meal replacement product and better eating habits. My balance has improved. I feel better than I ever have in my life. I know continuing to work out and be active is essential to continue good health in the years ahead. I highly recommend Debbie as a trainer. I have worked out with other trainers in the past and there is no comparison in her skill and her concern for her clients. She is head and shoulders above the rest!

I prided myself on being active and fit most of my adult life, participating in Jazzercize, aerobic classes, and walking up to 2 miles a day. When I approached 70, however, my body began to scream "HELP!" Arthritis had settled into my bones and I found myself leading a more sedentary life, heading down a path leading to still more problems. I knew that an exercise regimen was required in spite of my ailments.
My exercise-loving, fit husband had noticed a female trainer at the gym who appeared to have an easy rapport with her clients, and suggested I talk to her. I was reluctant, I suppose, because I didn't really wish to exercise in a public place. But I met with Debbie 2 years ago to discuss my options and an exercise program was planned for me based on my individual needs. For someone who dislikes exercise as much as I do, it is imperative that I have someone to whom I am accountable, and Debbie is that person. She is knowledgeable in her craft and cares deeply for each and every client.

Last fall I was interested in hiring a personal trainer after having neck surgery nine months earlier. I am 61 years young and had a 3-level cervical fusion. I had not been able to work out, be active, or perform exercise for over a year. I needed to ease back into it and I was very worried about overdoing it and possibly hurting myself. Specifically, I was looking for and interested in hiring someone experienced, certified in all areas of health and fitness, and one who is comfortable training all ages (younger, middle-aged or older people).
I am really glad I chose Debbie Johnson and One Life One Body for my training needs; she is extremely careful and considerate. Her workout regimen started slowly and progressively increased in intensity. We used caution during each session to ensure the muscles, tendons, ligaments, and overall body was ready for new challenges to increase muscle tone, definition, strength, and endurance. I have seen huge improvements in regards to increased stamina, muscle tone, and strength.

Toby Johnson has been an inspiration and driving force behind my daily regimen of rehabilitation, strength and conditioning and overall balanced exercise routine for many years. I am convinced that this boy knows what he is doing and is able to motivate, successfully and safely assist just about any client or individual he has the chance to work with. For those that may be considering a workout trainer, I can certainly recommend Debbie Johnson. I have known her since 2009, and we worked out 2-3 times a week until I had some health problems, and in turn had to stop. God led me back to Debbie this year and I am so BLESSED. She is a very smart capable individual with lots of experience in helping people find themselves and their life through weight training & individualized exercise programs. She is so kind and so sweet from the inside/out. Her schedules are usually flexible to fit your time frame needs. Debbie can also help with nutrition and a overall way to a better life style.
I could not do without her help and on days when the alarm goes off at 6:30 and I may want to sleep in I say heck no get up and g!!! .I Always feel so good after the training.
